A few tips:
1) Please edit your profile to add your real name, location, car details, maybe a profile picture and some photos of your car.
2) Replying to posts is a bit different, but easier, than before. Just type your comments in the box at the bottom of the page and click Add Reply.
3) Make use of the Subscribe feature to make sure you know when new information is posted.

Most of your profile information is hidden from non-members. You don't have to be super-specific about your location but I've used it in the past to organize events so the rough geographic area is useful.
Just click your user name at the top right and select My Profile. Click your picture to change it, click the Edit Settings button to add location, etc. and click the Media tab to add photos of your car or whatever.
