Tom is a good guy just as Bill at GT parts is a good guy. They both dance to the beat of a different drummer, having been in this game for a long time. They know what their core business is and don't get caught up in the new flavor of the month whether it be clients or Ferrari's. Tom is not out of the parts business any more than Bill is out of the parts business and they do and will price things ahead of the market from time to time. They are honest, don't get high on their own supply and have been good for the hobby. Too bad the rest of the market is riddled with sellers that only care about the most the market can bare because they are just passing through. When buyers know more than sellers ( ebay on many Ferrari parts and some cars) the hobbiests really pay a high price.

Just wait until TS finds another widow with a dusty old ferrari race car. He will be back in the parts business pronto. He has way too many parts not to be in the parts business. Unless of course he is waiting for 348's to become rare and he can reconstruct whole cars around his 348 door nob collection and become more wealthy than bill gates.

I have been told that the C4 tracks and lags at about 50% of the price of the B4. Unless the Daytona sales are slowing down, This number should be achievable for a good car. And a good car is not Concourse quality. The only other member's car that I have seen is Jeff's C4. Jeff's would trade well above that figure. I would really like to see what a C4 with a Platnum show history would trade for.

And look who the seller is....I guess Tom has decided to move up from parts to whole cars permanently. His website states his parts business is closed. Too bad, we have lost great resource.

I would be very interested & pleasantly surprised if this asking price is achieved. Recognition of our cars in terms of their value is long overdue Regards Ian L
