Ian Thanks !I just deleted the double post. Cavallino last listed the C4 range at $85 to $125 they bumped the upper range$5k for the June/July issue. I am not a seller either and the only reason that i watch the values is that it is a barometer of the popularity of the model.

Hey guys dont forget to adjust your coverage as prices rise. I upped mine last year and may have to do so again. I consider my car mid range. Not perfect but no beater either. Looks like just over $100,000 on the Cavalino scale. |Mike

Hi, I'm not too familiar with the best way of selling my Ferrari. I am hesitant to sell it privately so I'm in discussion now with a local classic car dealer to sell my car (I live in New Jersey). I'm just reading the post. I'm not sure how much to ask from my c4. It is in good original condition and runs/drives/shifts/etc great (39000 miles, orig paint, owner history back to '74, complete motor rebuild $30k+ in receipts, no major issues). Can anyone send me the market value information so I am armed with the facts when I discuss price with them. Also let me know if you aware of any other dealers in the northeast US that might be interested in my c4. My email is [email protected]. Any other help is appreciated Thanks Craig

Craig. Two data points for you. 1. the Ferrari market letter currently list the C4's current avg asking price is $103,267. Cavallino now lists the top cars at $150. Outside of this, setting the value is very subjective. Need to consider: Condition Originality Mileage Records / history Awards ETC... Good luck.

Hello all, I want to inform you that I just sold my C4. I did not spend a lot effort in the sale so I did not get close to the prices that are being mentioned here. I had one potential buyer who used to own the car in the 70s but that fell through. I then called a local classic car dealer who looked the car over well and made me an offer in the low 70s. I then looked in Hemmings and saw an add for 'Ferrari's wanted - top dollar paid'. I call the guy and he came to look at the car and basically insulted me with an offer that I would not even mention here. So I went back to the local classic car dealer and we negotiated up on the price. His web site is: http://www.stableltd.com but he has not listed my old c4 yet. It was a good car. The engine was rebuilt about 4k miles ago ($32K in receipts). It has the original paint, wire wheels, 39k miles, Blue, SN 15649. Complete owner history (I am in contact with the guy who owned it from 1974 thru 1996). Ran strong, shifted well. There were a couple small issues with the car. I can provide more detail if anyone in interested. Just a quick note of thanks to the C4 owners. This forum and owners club has been great! Hopefully the new owner will find this website and join up! Thanks Craig
