See eBay auction (not mine). Maybe not exactly correct (I think the trays are more modern, maybe 400i or 512BB) but still awfully close and probably good enough for most judges. Opening price is right. Not sure about the reserve. Just FYI.

Not sure about this one. & never seen three layers of tools on those sort of trays.
I have seen a 400 toolkit & it looked more like ours with one wrench set at an angle.
Everest wrenches are OK but oil filter wrench has different handle & there is no plug spanner.
Case looks correct for US cars & may fool the judges if they don't open it!!
      Regards

The tool kit is interesting in that it looks very much like the tool kit depicted in my maintenance and service handbook - clearly there are a couple things missing

          Hi Aaron
Just looked at the manual online on this site & you are correct that the toolkit on eBay looks a lot like it.
Nevre seen one like that in the UK
Also interesting is that the tool kit (green trays) posted by Jeff in the Gallery does not have the plug spanner & no cut out for but the other
toolkits shown have the plug spanner.

            Ian,

The tool kit is probalby no different than other item for these cars - as you said - it depends on what was availble on the shelves of the factory at the time.
I was at the Serrano concours (west of Sacramento) a couple weeks back, I registered too late to get judged - next time - it will fun to watch the judges argue over what
is correct and what is not - a game to find out what one can get away with?
