Very nice car but I have two questions.
I think I first saw a double row of stitching on the re upholstered seats in Mike Meehans car & this one also has the same stitching
My own RHD car has a single row of stitching so which is correct?
I know Mikes is a Euro production as is mine & the one Sheehan has is a USA production.
Also the tool kit is the same as my Euro car can anyone explain these differences or do we put it down as
"these are hand built cars!!"
Regards
Ian L

Hi Ian, you are correct. My car does have double row stitching.I do think that the single row is correct. If you get a chance to see a car with the plaid inserts you will likely find them to be double row. When I sent my seats out I also sent a picture of what I wanted which is what I think is standard ,the single row. However the upholstery guy duplicated the double row of my cloth inserts in leather as I changed it to all leather. I did not realize untill the seats were back in the car and I just kept them as is. To be fully correct I think it should be single row as is you car. By the way I hope to see that single row stitching very soon. Our plans are just about all set. If your # is the same I will try to call this weekend. Mike
