Jeff I see a photo of the underside of your car on the main home page of www.365gtc4.com. I notice that there is a "V" welded to the underside of the chassis cross beam behind the petrol pumps/filter after the diff. What is that for? Is it to protect the pumps/filter or stop people using the cross beam to jack up the car or something else? My car does not have it and I use that beam to jack up the rear end. Is that a problem? Thanks John

I figured that the triangle piece of metal was there as a jack aid and to protect the fuel pumps both. Many years ago, I started using wood blocks on my floor jack to provide protection to the metal parts. (Using 2 x 6 on my floor jack to raise the rear) it spans the two frame tubes and the peak (pointed down) nicely and does not allow the jack “block” to impinge on the fuel pump assembly. Aaron
