Compressor is going to Polar Bear in Lauderdale for "rebuild". Will post results when back, but $400 rebuild rather than $4700 for new unit seems good value.

Hi Nigel, AC stuff is not Ferrari specific and a leak could be from many sources.A good shop should be able to spot the problem. They can put some dye in the unit that will show up under a specific kind of light.I would however use a shop that is familiar with our cars if at all possible. Good luck,Mike

Any suggestions for rebuild/replacement of AC unit to cure problem? Is this likely to just be compressor unit?
