If anyone has an extra leather pouch for the manuals I'd be interested. Contact Jeff at 310-951-6002. Looks like this .

Does anyone have the original pouch for their car? If so, does it look like this: with a yellow/goldish silk lining that is gusseted for depth and a slot in the back outside or like this: with a red/brownish non-gusseted silk lining and no slot outside? I have been told that the first one is for early cars but the second one was the most common for 365 GTC/4s and Daytonas. Anyone know?

The pouch from the 4570219191 auction certainly seems real, albeit a bit different than all three of the examples I posted above. The first photo above is also a real pouch, as borrowed from an early C4 owner. More photos of it are available in the Photo Gallery. The other two photos are of reproductions that keep popping up on ebay. The one that most closely matches the one I borrowed is advertised as fitting 250, 275, 330, and early 365 models while the red/brown lined one is advertised as being correct for Daytonas, C4s, 365 BBs, and early 308s. I'm just wondering what other owners have. No doubt Ferrari changed styles as supply changed and it is clearly possible that early C4s used a different pouch than later ones but I have no proof of that.

Hello Jeff I am sending pics of my UK pouch. It is obviously the same size but the silk material inside is much paler gold colour than the one you show & there is no slot on the back. Maybe the UK/Euro models were supplied with a different pouch just as the tool boxes are different. Regards Ian L

Yes, the prices on this literature/tools stuff is silly. A repro pouch would be fine for me. In fact, I forgot to ask for details about Kerry Chesbro. Anyone?

Early on in this auction I thought I might bid for 230014523311 but last time I looked it was over $2000. It seems there is great demand & a similar willingness to pay very hight prices for these Ferrari items, toolkits, leather pouches etc. Ian L
